Equipment and Infection Control
Personal Touch uses the most up to date equipment to provide safe and effective treatments. Using a computerized electrolysis machine, the electrologists has the ability to adjust settings based on each client's specific hair type and location. This allows for the most comfortable and effective treatment.
Our high-powered diopter magnifying light allows for a greater visibility of each hair follicle in great depth. This makes for precise and accurate insertions.
The probes we use for treating clients, are pre-sterilized, single-use disposable probes. They are made from the highest quality materials to provide a safe, comfortable and effective hair removal treatment.
Disposable Non-Latex gloves and masks are worn by the electrologist for all treatments. Disposable table coverings are also used for each treatment, providing a sanitized barrier.
Hospital grade disinfectant is used to clean all equipment and surfaces. Triple enzyme detergent is used for cleaning of all forceps prior to being put through a state monitored dry heat sterilizer, for the highest level of decontamination. These standards are set by the State of New Hampshire Board of Electrology and the CDC.

Shauna stays up to date with all current rules and regulations, maintaining her Electrolysis License from the State of NH. She attends mandatory annual seminars and continuing education courses that are up to date with infection control practices, sterilization and the physiology of skin and hair.
